Essential Duties of the Photo Editor

  • Work with the editor and other team members
  • Determine photography needs on a daily basis
  • Develop and manage calendars
  • Plan, organize and manage production and events
  • Assign projects to other photographers and manage their work
  • Give useful feedback to photographers about their progress
  • Chose the best photos for publishing
  • Ensure that the resources and equipment are used properly
  • Work and communicate with editors, photographers and advertising reps
  • Stay up to date with the new best practices and editing technologies

Qualifications and Experience

  • Previous working experience as a Photo Editor for (2) year(s)
  • Assosicates Degree in photography, visual arts, digital media or similar relevant field
  • Excellent and extensive portfolio
  • In-depth knowledge of computer imaging and  studio management
  • 2 years of experience with digital technology
  • Attention to details
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
